Materials for interior doors

- veneered doors - covering with thin sheets of natural wood (veneer) increases sound insulation and thermal insulation, gives the models sophistication;
- painted doors - they can be repainted in any shade, so you do not have to change the doors during repairs;
- glass doors - frosted, mirrored or painted glass inserts visually expand the room and make it brighter;
- interior doors made of solid wood are the most expensive options, providing a long service life.
- laminated doors are covered with artificial material (plastic). It provides additional protective properties, while the base remains made of MDF, solid wood or plywood.
How to open interior doors
Interior doors (Kyiv) can have a hinged, sliding or folding opening format.
- Hinged models are a standard option when the sash opens in one direction (outward or inward).
- Hinged doors (compartments) are installed on a special rail along which they slide sideways. This allows you to save free space.
- Folding accordion doors are suitable for compact rooms where there is not enough space to install a hinged model. However, they cannot provide good sound insulation and thermal insulation.
